I've been skippering and crewing on one designs all my life, from turnabouts and 420's as a kid to some FJ's in college to Dark Harbor 20's, a class designed by Sparkman and Stephens. DH 20's are roughly 20' on water and 30' on deck with a slightly overpowered main, jib, and spinnaker.
