I would like to try sailing a few times before committing to buying a boat and taking on a new sport. I'm athletic, easy going, and no when to just be quiet. My wife and I live in Tiburon but I'm willing to travel anywhere in the bay area. I'm available most weekends. |

My only experience yet is a week of sailing a 24" Hunter several years ago on Howard Prairie Lake. It's where I first fell in love with sailing. Hours drifted by effortlessly. Waking up the morning after we spent the night on the boat is one of the more memorable moments of my life. The water was beautifully still with light fog drifting over its surface. My 10-year plan is to become a liveaboard cruiser and recreate those moments every single day. That said, I know a good bit about the parts of the boat. Sail trim will require some refreshing. Traffic was minimal on the lake so I know little about "rules of the road." I'm currently 24 and highly active. My primary activity is parkour, and I also spend time hiking and camping. My other major hobby (as well as my job) is programming and building websites. I love to cook, with my most recent pursuit being nose-to-tail eating. I'm extremely easy- going, love to help, and easily coachable. I have a passion for learning new things and have an extreme attention to detail. |

Currently enrolled in Basic Keelboat 1&2. Loving it so far. Looking to expand my knowlege and experience. As a prior college wrestler, I can bring discipline and hard work. I want to learn the ropes and have a good time sailing. Thanks for the consideration! |

Hey y'all! I'm a rising Junior at Duke University in North Carolina. I'm home for a few weeks and would love to learn how to sail. I live in San Jose, but am willing to travel where I'm needed. I'm a big surfer in Santa Cruz, so I've spent a lot of time in the water. I've also sailed 420s a few times at school and have done some reading on sailing and have a little bit of an understanding of sailing. I'm active and love to move around and be on the water. I would love to be able to crew for you in the next couple weeks! |

Sailing is one of my most favorite things in the world. I love nature, the ocean, everything. I have many non-sailing skills - cooking, wine, hospitality, event management. Professional, poised, polished and have extensive marketing experience. And I am nice and fun. |

I am a 31 year-old athletic guy who works as a lawyer in SF and Palo Alto. I would like to learn how to sail and think I would eventually want to own a boat. I took basic keelboat 1 & 2 in San Diego a couple years ago before moving up to the Bay Area. I have sailed with friends and family a few times a year my whole life, and I know what it means to crew and the work involved, and I'm happy to contribute food and beverages. I have also taken numerous small boat sailing courses. |

Why I want to get into it: Growing up, I would sail sunfish I would spend summers racing sufish in the finger lakes of upstate new york. The sport brings a mixture of peace and excitement that is hard to find anywhere else. I just moved to SF and want to get involved in something that involves a time commitment. About me, and why you want me on your crew: 24, M, 6'4, 200 lbs, agile, cool under pressure, extremely competitive, committed, hgihly coachable. The time you spend on my development is an investment. The payoff being a capable and disciplined member of your team |
