I would like to try sailing a few times before committing to buying a boat and taking on a new sport. I'm athletic, easy going, and no when to just be quiet. My wife and I live in Tiburon but I'm willing to travel anywhere in the bay area. I'm available most weekends.

My only experience yet is a week of sailing a 24" Hunter several years ago on Howard Prairie Lake. It's where I first fell in love with sailing. Hours drifted by effortlessly. Waking up the morning after we spent the night on the boat is one of the more memorable moments of my life. The water was beautifully still with light fog drifting over its surface. My 10-year plan is to become a liveaboard cruiser and recreate those moments every single day. That said, I know a good bit about the parts of the boat. Sail trim will require some refreshing. Traffic was minimal on the lake so I know little about "rules of the road." I'm currently 24 and highly active. My primary activity is parkour, and I also spend time hiking and camping. My other major hobby (as well as my job) is programming and building websites. I love to cook, with my most recent pursuit being nose-to-tail eating. I'm extremely easy- going, love to help, and easily coachable. I have a passion for learning new things and have an extreme attention to detail.

Current university student trying to learn how to sail - just left my school's rowing team and I'm trying to find other ways to spend some time on boats. I love being out on the water and am super excited about learning to sail, and would be happy doing any type of work on a boat if it meant spending time on the bay. School schedule means I'm only really available weekends. I'm an engineering student so I have some mechanical/artistic aptitude, and am a decent cook when I put my mind to it, but mostly just offering a lot of enthusiasm for the sport.

I am a beginner with a couple week long cruises on the Great lakes, some day sailing on the Texas gulf coast and limited sailing on San Francisco and San Pablo Bays. I have always had a desire to learn to sail especially after the few outings I have had. I am most interested on getting some confidence building experiences on a 30' or larger cruiser. My girlfriend is from the bay area and would also be interested in sailing experience. I have been a sous chef for the past decade, most recently at a hotel in Austin Texas and am more than willing to provide ingredients and skills to cook a great lunch or dinner. I am motivated and fast learner and in good shape, so no liability.

Currently enrolled in Basic Keelboat 1&2. Loving it so far. Looking to expand my knowlege and experience. As a prior college wrestler, I can bring discipline and hard work. I want to learn the ropes and have a good time sailing. Thanks for the consideration!

Hey y'all! I'm a rising Junior at Duke University in North Carolina. I'm home for a few weeks and would love to learn how to sail. I live in San Jose, but am willing to travel where I'm needed. I'm a big surfer in Santa Cruz, so I've spent a lot of time in the water. I've also sailed 420s a few times at school and have done some reading on sailing and have a little bit of an understanding of sailing. I'm active and love to move around and be on the water. I would love to be able to crew for you in the next couple weeks!

I love the ocean and want to learn more about how to spend time on it. I'm an enthusiastic and hard worker who loves learning new things and having new experiences. I'm on the tail end of my gap year right now, just finishing with my NOLS semester and looking forward to going to Reed College in the fall. I have a profound respect for the ocean and am always looking to cultivate a deeper understanding of the world around me. I am an Eagle Scout, WFA and CPR certified, and a pretty good chef and baker. I am a team player with a strong work ethic and a high tolerance for adversity. I would love the opportunity to experience life on the ocean and to learn new things.

Sailing is one of my most favorite things in the world. I love nature, the ocean, everything. I have many non-sailing skills - cooking, wine, hospitality, event management. Professional, poised, polished and have extensive marketing experience. And I am nice and fun.

I am a 31 year-old athletic guy who works as a lawyer in SF and Palo Alto. I would like to learn how to sail and think I would eventually want to own a boat. I took basic keelboat 1 & 2 in San Diego a couple years ago before moving up to the Bay Area. I have sailed with friends and family a few times a year my whole life, and I know what it means to crew and the work involved, and I'm happy to contribute food and beverages. I have also taken numerous small boat sailing courses.

27 year old male in good shape. Recently moved from Los Angeles where I was a member of Marina Sailing. I completed ASA 101, 102, and 103 within the last year and I then skippered several day cruises on Catalina 28s. I've also crewed on several cruises. I'm very excited to learn more about sailing and just get out on the water. I'm also interested in racing, although it would be completely new to me. I don't mind taking orders and would of course chip in for food, beverages and charter fees. I am available weekends only and can sail out of anywhere in the Bay Area.

I love to travel and I love adventure! My motto in life is to never stop learning. I took a year off in 2016-2017 from my job to travel the world and now that I'm back home I want to set my sites on my next adventure. Sailing fits into the profile of what I want out of life. I'm eager to learn, a good listener, ridiculously cheerful, sometimes too hyper, but I promise it's easy to be around me. There's usual never a dull moment when I'm around. Unless you requires silence than I'm also good at not talking when asked not to do so :)

Why I want to get into it: Growing up, I would sail sunfish I would spend summers racing sufish in the finger lakes of upstate new york. The sport brings a mixture of peace and excitement that is hard to find anywhere else. I just moved to SF and want to get involved in something that involves a time commitment. About me, and why you want me on your crew: 24, M, 6'4, 200 lbs, agile, cool under pressure, extremely competitive, committed, hgihly coachable. The time you spend on my development is an investment. The payoff being a capable and disciplined member of your team

Hello, I am interested in learning how to sail to expand my personal horizons. I have always loved and felt comfortable in the water and would like to spend more time there. I am CPR/First Aid Certified, can cook and am hilarious. I like to drink alcohol and try new experiences. I can bring a calm, organized, rational personality to the group. Thanks, Melissa

I sailed recreationally for a couple years in college and with the Cal Sailing Club for a short time after moving to the bay area. Most of my experience is with sailing 1-2 person dinghies. I'm looking to join a crew that can teach me how to be a better sailor and have some fun doing it.
