Recently purchased an 01 Tayana 42CC. Had broker oversee the decommissioning. Mast damaged before shipping. No one would own up to when and where. We were left dealing with the problem. Sliding settee was not working at time of survey, was told it would be fixed, then told it had been. Went to use it after it arrived in new homeport. Nothing was ever done. Broker would not help out on expense to fix it. They did however arrange for payment of the hull damage when the vessel was run into at the docks before being moved to the yard. That was the good news.
Not a pleasant experience. You would think when you purchase a vessel of this caliber you would get the same caliber of brokerage. Think agin, I sure will.
