5 Star Rating

We bought a 20' jet drive open bow Hocking in 1989. We use it throughout the year because we live in Southern California. Aside from regular maintenance; oil changes, spark plugs, points, etc., we've never had a major mechanical problem. The worst incident was the baffle in the carburetor failing.

We like the fact that it is a jet drive and swimmers of all ages are safe from any external moving props. We get pretty decent gas useage and have packed up to 14 persons on board (from dock to beach off area).

The hull is in really good shape considering the pounding the boat goes through when pulling water skiers.

Overall we are satisfied with the quality of this boat.
