My Dad bought the Island Packet Mark II. The boat is poorly laid out and is not worth the $620,000 he spent on it. When motoring, the exhaust from the engines go right into the cockpit if you have the door open. There is an exhaust right next to the door. The self furling sails do not work correctly in light winds. You can't put the sails out by yourself because you can't see the sails from the aft of the boat where the controls to put the sails out are located. If you are in the cockpit, driving the boat and others are enjoying the sun in the forward seating area, you cannot enjoy their company, you cannot hear them and it is lonely in the the cockpit. The drain for the shower is not set up well, if you don't clean it regularly, the motor that drains the area will burn out and have to be replaced. For the money, I would not recommend purchasing this boat. <P>
