Comment: We hired Alan to survey our wooden boat (both in/out of water) during which he failed to notice a severely misshapen hull due to several broken frames. I'm new to the wooden boats, and had it not been for the lift operator at Svendsen's would have likely put my life at risk sailing what I would have believed to be a safe vessel. When contacted we didn't get as much as an apology. Alan is certainly well certified and is very proud of his work but I just can't bring myself to recommend his services.
