Reviewer: Emma Powell 23-Aug-09 Comment: I took my 04 Reinell in for service at Morgancraft in Gardena, Ca., on 5/07/09 to get it ready for summer use. It was heating up the summer before with never any shifting problem. They replaced the seal between the inboard and outboard 3 hrs of service and the impeller water pump service for 2 hrs total bill was 6 hrs, $889.59. Good money to get the boat ready for play. I put it in the water on 7/16/09 it would not start at all, it made one little sound and the battery was totally dead. I got a battery and tried again. It started fine but now I had no neutral or forward gear, it would not shift forward, I put it in reverse and it went forward. A couple times it would go backward when I put it in reverse so I had to be prepared to go backward or forward everytime I shifted. I called Morgancraft and they said they had never heard of this problem and they said they pretested it before leaving the shop, impossible with that dead battery and shifting problems. I got it repaired, the locking bar was not tightened down for the shift cable which I could have fixed at the lake if I was told that knowledge. I will never take my boat back to that shop again. That was a lot of money for all that frustration on the lake. They have moved down to Del Amo Blvd in Carson, Ca....Beware. Emma Powell
