Reviewer: michael barrett 17-Mar-11Comment: After years of working on other peoples boats,engines,transmissions etc I decided to get myself a good seaworthy boat and was fortunate to stunmble across a De Groot Striker sports fisher which I have just purchased and intend to refurbish and use.Way ahead of its time,built just as I was born.And the best Bit its builder Thomas De Groot is ready and willing to answer any questions or queries regarding its Re Fit.

Reviewer: Thomas de Groot 20-Aug-09Comment: The statement on the homepage of the illegal website (strikeryachts.net) by Jim Hall on www as if I had also died is proven imaginary and made up by his unfortunately twisted and bizar mind out of frustration that I had to sack him as the US-region agent for evident incompetence and multiple contract breaching : yet Jim Hall tried to continued pretendeiong as the (selfproclaimed) US-region agent and as such exposed himself and found himself subjected to litigiation.

Reviewer: Jim Hall 22-Mar-08 Comment: Jim Hall introduces Aluminum Work Boat Conversions. Over 100 Striker models ready for conversion to full work duty. Striker ranges are: 34, 37, 41, 44, 50, 54, 58/60, 62, and 70. These vessels can be converted very easily compared to most recreational boats ever built! All types of small boat operations can benefit for several decades using this hull design. Factory plans are available or in house designer of work boats would be sufficient as long as classifications are within range. This Hull design will amaze the most experience Captains. Converting a Striker to Work Boat Status is not an Impossible Dream. With proper planning and with a good Work boat yard you'll be in business in no time and with a tremendous savings over new construction. With the amount of Striker Hulls out there the savings are over 100 million dollars if all vessels were converted within the next few years! There is a Big money savings here with a very well known vessel. If your organization needs a work boat badly and is over budget. Look into a real clean-cut conversion to meet your needs with a Striker Hull and save several hundred thousand dollars. Some organizations need 2-3 or more boats and with the cost of new sky high, conversion makes sense and is very possible, since the Hulls are built inverted much of the new work can completed Dockside and most yards will welcome and be very eager to handle your needs. Striker pilot vessel work boat conversions make sense for many type of operations and also there is NEW design Striker vessels including High speed VOLVO running gear and underwater lines! Reviewer: THOMAS DE GROOT 12-Feb-08Comment: Don't know your company but as the designer of STRIKER I would say we at STRIKER did a pretty good job,considering the boats built in the 70 's and on are still very much sought ,being refusbished etc. Also see www.strikerboats.nl for background info/reference on STRIKER yachts and pilotboats. Further pls note that James Hall however still pretending being the US Agent has been released in February 2007 because of multiple breaches of contract,etc and so on.
