Reviewer: Grant Grove' 01-May-11Comment: Living on board and cruising for the past 7 years on our Manta 42, Reality, has been the best of cruising comfort and safety. The Manta handles all weather safely and can make passages fast and smooth. We have sailed Reality in 25+ foot seas and in over 50 knots of wind. We have seen speeds as high as 18 knots and average 8 to 12 knots on most passages. The Manta can point as high as any cruising monohull and still sail faster. It likes to be light so don't overload it with everything you own, like we did. Great live a board cruiser.
