Reviewer: Penny Heiser 28-Mar-05Comment: My husband and I are new to the Yachting world and I have to say our first Experience with the Benicia Marina was the BEST...everyone there is professional and helpful. The HarborMaster is efficient and very nice. We ended up joining the Benicia Yacht Club, in which the people were so friendly and outgoing...We felt right at home....and the FOOD there has got to be the BEST!!!. Their slips and bathrooms are well maintained (which is a plus in a woman's book). It is close to 1st street downtown which has dancing and dining, plus lots of little shops. If you ever go that way...stop and see what I am talking about..you will enjoy it. A big plus is that it is so close to everything. We stayed the night there and went to SF the next day (just a short distance away)It is a great halfway point for the whole Bay Area. Thanks to Benicia for having such a wonderful place to go in our boat.

We take guests and business associates who find the marina, friendly staff and services, as well as the town(a easy walk)to be a plesent destanation in a interisting and well placed location. I recomend this destination to all who are looking for a marina with class and appeal.

Reviewer: 13-Sep-02 Comment: Great folks at the marina. Spent a Wednesday night 8/15/02 there and shared the guest berth area with only 1 other boat. Only issue is dredging going on in channel. Ran aground trying to get around barge near mid- channel at mid-tide. However, dredge crew immediately dispatched a support boat to pull us off. It was a 5 minute delay and a better story than not running aground.
